Alejandro González Iñárritu (credited since 2014 as Alejandro G. Iñárritu) (born 15 August 1963) is a Mexican filmmaker and screenwriter. He is primarily known for making modern psychological drama films about the human condition.
His projects have garnered critical acclaim and numerous accolades including eight Academy Awards with a Special Achievement Award, six Golden Globe Awards, eight British Academy Film Awards, two American Film Institute Awards, two Directors Guild of America Awards and a Producers Guild of America Award. SYNOPSIS:
In Babel, a tragic incident involving an American couple in Morocco sparks a chain of events for four families in different countries throughout the world.
